Noah's 1st Birthday!!!

I'm finally making a little "me" time so I can update the blog and tell my peeps about Noah's birthday. Amidst packing, moving, new job, unpacking....I finally copied the pics from our camera last night and have SO MUCH to share! To say this child is loved would truly be the understatement of the century. I decided to throw him a "Yo Gabba Gabba" party. He just LOVES that weird show! Of course Party City didn't have anything related so I ordered everything online including matching shirts for Aaron, Noah and myself. We reserved a couple of tables at Lincoln Park and it was a beautiful day! I'm just going to dive into some pics so here you go!!

Mmmmmm......Costco cake!

One of Noah's favorite things...balloons!

Party table with MORE balloons!

Everyone recieved a personalized boombox with different goodies inside!

Exploring his smash cake

Cake face

My parents couldn't make it but Noah wanted them to know he knows how much they miss & love him. He wanted to show he missed & loved them too.

Mom & Dad here's some cake Noah wanted you to have.

It got a tad chili in the shade so he got to wear a new hoodie!

Party pooped!

After the chaos, the stress and blah blah blah of recent times, Noah had a great day and we are so grateful for that. Now let us pause for a sentimental moment from Mommy to Noah................
Noah, I cannot believe a year has flown by so quickly. I always heard parents say how quickly time flies with your kids but experiencing it I am just amazed. This has been such a hard year for us and our saving grace has been you. Every day, it's always you. You have such a special spirit and your smile can instantly lift me out of any funk I might be in. I never question God's love for me because I see you and there is no question how much I am loved, how much your dad is loved because we were blessed with you. Our eternal family is so much richer, funnier, sweeter...etc..with you as a part of it. I never thought I could love anyone or anything as much as I love and cherish you. I am so proud to be your mommy and I will do everything I can to keep you safe and happy forever. Thank you for every smile, hug, sloppy kiss, and giggle! Here's looking towards many more! Happy Birthday my son!

Awwwwwwh! Happy Birthday baby! I so wish we could have been there! Notice how his little tongue is sticking out at birth and on his 1st birthday! Take one of him making the same face at 20! What a cutie!
