I can't believe it's been a month since my last post! There is sooooooooo much to update y'all on so let's dive right in! I was going to go in chronilogical order but I am bursting to talk about "Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince"! I went to a midnite showing (did you doubt I would?) with Carrie and it was SO GREAT! First of all, the theatre we went to was so cool. Called Cinnebar, they had tables set up in the lobby along with huge movie posters of classics all around you. Then you get into the theatre and there is counter in front of your seat with a menu and LOTS of leg room. We had a cool dude named Nick as our "waiter" and we ordered some food, some drink, some popcorn and it was very cool. The only part both of us didn't like is that they come to settle up your bill during the climax of the movie....LAME!! I really think they should cut off ordering a half hour into the movie or something. Anyway here's some pics from that night.
Nick
Ok, the movie was so great! I was so disappointed in our particular midnite crowd. I'm used to folks freakin out with me as the lights go down and again when the music starts with the cloudy WB logo. Infact, usually there is no such thing as previews at the midnite showings I've been to in the past which is great (although I LOVE previews) I thought this movie was wonderful. The acting from everyone was leaps and bounds better than previous films and man was it FUNNY! I would've like to see the battle scene at Hogwarts make it into the film but from what the director has said the next movie's battle scene will not disappoint. He didn't want to be redundant with battles and such. Yea, he told me this himself...we're tight. Hee hee! I am so in love with Luna Lovegood, she just cracks me up! I thought Malfoy is finally coming into his evil own. He grew about a foot I swear but his entire countenance was so much the Malfoy I know in the books. I cannot wait to see it again in IMAX 3D this week! It was definitely a great way to top off my birthday celebration! Aaron took me bowling while Noah got to chill with the Denke's. Thanx again guys! We went out to lunch as well and had some fun time together spending my Barnes & Nobe gift card. We got home and enjoyed a beautiful chocolate cake that was sooooo bad for my diet but who cares!?
I kicked Aaron's booty in both games!! Yea!
These are the books I bought with Aaron's giftcard. Have any of you read these? Thoughts?
Cake....mmmmmmm
Carrie gave me this beautiful bunch of lovely things (look at that bracelet!) I love the box it came in too!
Mom & Dad sent me Michael Buble's new DVD/CD combo! He's so amazing!
It's so weird that I am 33. I certainly don't feel 33. Well, somedays I feel 83 but who doesn't? As many of you know, Aaron and I have been house hunting every available day we can go. Last week we found a great house and loooonngg story short, we lost the house. I saw it as a time to re-evaluate whether or not it's a good idea for us to buy right now so then we switched gears and I started apartment/townhome hunting this week. Found a great place and then last night our lender said the underwriter can get us qualified for what we want if we pay off a credit card which we had planned on. So now Aaron wants to buy so that we don't miss out on the $8000 tax credit and I don't know where my heads at. Aaron might be changing careers in the next year and I would hate to have to turn around and have to sell if he gets a job in Idaho. So that's been all of my free time pretty much. I can go back to work at Home Depot but I don't want to return only to have to quit or transfer. I think that's flaky. I really love the particular store I work at. Everyone there I just adore and they are so great to me. Anyhoo, so that's what's going on in my life right now. I see som many paths ahead and I just keep praying the right one will make itself known to us cuz the back and forth is so frustrating!
Noah is doing great! He's got 2 bottom teeth in and his vampire teeth as well! Did you doubt his vampire teeth would be first being my son and all? He is very attached to both of us and cries whenever one of us leaves. Aww! It's so great to know that someone loves you that much! He is going to be 1 yr. on August 19th. What do I plan? Hmmm.....
Well share your Harry Potter stories, fave birthday memories, book thoughts...etc. Can't wait to hear from y'all!
Until next time! I promise not to wait another month!

I.D.A.H.O?!?! Awesome. I'm rooting for that one.
We went to Harry Potter with Dixie and Shane. Dix and I won tickets. It was fantastic. I just might watch the other ones. haha.
Dixie mentioned you were maybe interested in the diet hcg I'm doing (as of today, I've lost 14 pounds in 12 days) It's hardcore and crazy hard but 100% natural. Let me know if you really are interested and I will hook you up with my sister-in-law who sells it.

Let me know about this diet! I could use it! hehe
Love Melissa

Happy Birthday! I'm glad you enjoyed Harry Potter, I wish we could have gone to the midnight showing, but between school and Arley it just wasn't going to happen :( Oh well we saw it the next day. It was pretty great! I just wish they showed more of Voldemort's past.

Cute post! I haven't seen Harry Potter yet, but sounds like a great movie. Can you believe we are 33? Where has the time gone. I struggle with it some days too, but it's a part of life I guess and I need to make the most of it. LOL!
I love your new do and glasses too, very cute! Good luck on the house hunting, been there honey. Good luck! Where in Idaho would you move to?
It's called hcg and it's a natural oral drop you take three times a day. The diet is crazy. I mean CRAZY but it works. I never could have dropped this much weight this fast on my own. It's a 26 day diet then a 3 week maintenance diet. If you want to email me your email address I will give your info to my sis-in-law and she can take care of you.

JEN! My heart literally skipped a beat. I will put in a good word with the man upstairs that your path needs to trek you over to Idaho! I need you!
LOVED Harry Potter. Have loved this whole story since you first lent me "Sorcerer's Stone" in Nashville and I read it under my desk in one afternoon at work at the law firm! I couldn't put it down!
This was a post worth waiting for! I like when you let all your thoughts out, it's like I feel close to you then.
Oh Harry Potter Series, how in love with you I am. I'm glad you had a good time. Happy Birthday too! Sounds like youguys are having a good time. Miss you...as I always say
I realize this is totally delayed, but I had to comment on HP...I loved it too and agreed with every single thing you talked about. So..I have now seen it 3 times, I'm obsessed. It's as many times as I saw Titanic, and I am pretty sure I will see it once more:) Be assured that even the 3rd time it did not lose its hilarity. Glad things are going well you and the fam! The people who live in your apt are interesting....that is all I will say:) Have a great day!
