All I had to say was, "I'm so glad I haven't had the stomach flu going around." THE NEXT DAY I became sicker than I can ever remember being in my life! Gone are the days when I get to stay in bed and have Mommy pamper me so I can get better. Now I'm the mommy so onward I go. To top everything off, the roast I had made that night was a little off I guess because the dogs had a bit of it and they got sick all over the place out the othr end! Also gone are the days I can run them outside really quick or call one of my neighbors to help me....ahhhh!!! Noah felt like he weighed 100 pounds, it was killing me. Aaron couldn't afford to take a sick day so it was just me and little man against "MY TUMMY"! My tummy prevailed most of the time but I'm so thankful to God for what a precious baby Noah is. I just plopped him in his boppy pillow in front of his TV girlfriend Kai-Lan (Thanks Noggin!) and he was fine for the most part. He kept trying to kiss me and didn't understand why I wasn't kissing him and talking to him as usual but I think he'll forgive me.
Yesterday I had to take him to the doctor to get his 6 month check up and vaccinations. The doctor was wondering who the paitient was as soon as he saw me. Ick! Noah had a rare meltdown and we came home and both collapsed for 2.5 hours! When Noah woke up, his temperature was up as it usually is after vaccinces but I was concerned because I didn't want him to get what I have so I've been monitoring him closely. The highest its been is 100.9 and now its down to 99.2. He usually runs around 97.6 so pray it continues to comes down. He's acting fine otherwise so that's great.
The doctor gave us the go ahead to start him on other foods other than rice cereal and see how he does. He is now 17.5 lbs and still 27.5 inches long. What a big boy!

Isn't being sick as a Mom the worst? Matt always wants to know why I don't baby him when he's sick. I just look at him and think, cause usually when you are sick, so is Arley, and so am I! Gotta love it. I can't wait for this sick season to be over with. We have all been sick with sinus infections like 3 time in the last month in a half. YUCK! I hope you are feeling better soon.
I'm soooo sorry you've been sick. I've been horribly sick two times when Tommy was out of town. It stinks to have to toughen up and get on with it huh?!? I just want to curl up in a ball and sleep but the kids have to eat, be changed and stay out of the toilet. I feel your pain.
On a side note, I packaged your Twilight shirts yesterday... You ordered the exact same two sweatshirts I have. Twinners!
Happy 6 Months sweet baby! It is so so hard when your kids get a fever. It kills me. I am a mess. And when you are sick and they are sick and you are by yourself, oh my goodness is that the worst. They need fed and you can't move or you will puke. Torture.
