This week's recommendation is a book I recently read that I really want to read again, which is rare for me.
The Story of Edgar Sawtelle
This book is so wonderful it's hard to know where to begin. If you are looking for an all around great read, pick up this book. It's 576 pages so be prepared but it is a journey that is worth taking. It's about a boy (Edgar Sawtelle) who is born without the ability to speak. Edgar and his Mom & Dad run a unique breeding kennel of special dogs. Throughout Edgar's tumultuous life, there remains one constant; his dog Almondine. To say this is a book "about dogs" would be incorrect and doing it a diservice. However, if you have ever known the unconditional love of a dog, you will love this book in a special way.
This is the first book from the author and it is just great. It says alot about life without "saying it" and I love that. Very few books touch me enough to make me cry and boy howdy did I cry a few times! This book has adventure, mystery, humor, drama. LOVE IT! Anyone read it already? Agree?

I've been needing a good book, i've been off the reading wagon for awhile now. Must say I'm not a dog lover in the least (sorry, heart-wrenching i know!) but sounds like a good read!
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this book!!!!! To me it was a story of "what goes around, comes around". A perfect example of the law of attraction! I loved the journey Edward embarked on and the unconditional love of his dog Almondine. She was WAY more than his pet. She was his protector. I will re-read this book throughout my life. I know that as I get more an more life experiences this book will reveal more and more lessons on living.
GREAT READ!!!!!!
I got this book for Christmas and my mom got the audio version. She listened to it and loved it but said she was basically crying all of the first half. So on a couple recent trips that included flights and therefore the public, I opted out of starting it...but I will soon when I have a lot of time at home with a box of kleenex:) I am glad it comes so highly recommended.
