I know it's early in American Idol to start choosing faves but I already have a few. It's going to be a great season! I'm glad they are shaking things up a bit and giving us 36 to vote on instead of 24, the "Wild Card" show is back, and I like the new judge so far. Who knows what else is in store! So far I am 6/7 in predicting the American Idol winner. I use the ever so scientific "chill factor". Whoever gives me the chills first or the most chills usually wins. The only season I wasn't into at all was the Clay Aiken/Ruben Studdard season (season 2?). My favorite Idol to this day is Kelly Clarkson, I am just amazed by that girls voice! Anyhoo, so far, I am not jumping out of my seat for any of the females but a few of them are pretty decent. There are 2 guys that I just la-la-LOVE and here they are: The first one, Danny Gokey, reminds me of Robert Downey Jr. lookwise and vocally I just think he ROCKS! Here's an audio sample.

Watch out for these 2 guys as well, they're amazing!! Adam is from the cast of "Wicked".

I haven't watched this season yet. I was considering letting it go since AI is such a major time commitment, but maybe I'll start DVR-ing it. What so you think? Should I commit the time? If I do watch I'll definitely keep an eye out for these guys.
I would totally DVR it then you can just fast forward through all of Ryan Seacrest stupid long "suspensful" pauses and the hour long show will only be 10 minutes of performances...hee hee! I think it's going to be a greeat season and I HAVE to talk about with you so you BETTER watch it!
I love the guys you showed here. The girls aren't really stand outs this year for me, although there are some good ones...
