2 Weeks Old Today!

It's been hard to get a good picture of little man that I can post because he HATES the flash and the lighting in our apartment SUCKS. In a couple of weeks when we can take him out for his first stroll and to church, I will be able to get better pics with those gorgeous eyes open. I HAD to put this picture up though. Aaron took this this morning while Noah was just chillin in his crib. It's his "I'm so cool" pose. He gets that from his daddy for sure!
Ok, so the past couple of weeks....where to begin....of course there has been no sleep for Mama, expected. Noah is fabulous. He is an eater and a half...gets that from Daddy too! Thus, that's why I get zero sleep. He's a good sleeper too, with a couple of exceptions. Not a big crier, except when you want to change his diaper and he wants to eat.....again, like Daddy. hee hee.

My two favorite things that Noah does is his HUGE smile when I tickle the back of his neck after I burp him and I'm just talking to him before he goes to sleep. I cannot WAIT to get a picture of this! The other thing I love is when I have him over my shoulder and am cuddling him and he is still hungry, he will start rooting around and sucking (kissing) my cheek then he makes it over to my mouth and starts in on my lower lip and shaking his head. It's so funny! Picture the end of Pearl Jam's video "Jeremy" where Eddie Vedder is shaking his head looking crazy. Such a goofy boy, he has my heart. Just like his daddy.

In other good news, to date I've lost 36 pounds in 2 weeks! The breastfeeding diet folks, gotta love it!! What's with the jelly belly though, seriously! How long will THAT stick around? I can see my feet again, and they actually look like FEET with ankles and everything! Heartburn has finally left the building...YIPPPEEE!!!! I'm still pretty sore but am finally starting to notice a little less pain every day. WHEW!
