I know, Halloween was a month ago. Anyhoo, here's an update on a few goings on of late in the Wise family. I worked on Halloween afternoon and had lots of fun talking "valley girl" to some customers (hey, a girls gotta stay in character!) Then we had planned to take Noah around the complex for a few minutes to meet some neighbors and introduce him to the whole "Trick or Treat" thing but Aaron had some reservations about it and thought he was too young so I just put him in his rock and roll outfit and snapped a pic. Oh, well, next year I guess! Here's some pics of the rock star family and my decorations this year.
OF COURSE the next event this month was NEW MOON midnite showing! What would a midnite showing be without Carrie! We met in Bellvue around 8pm and thought we'd have HOURS to window shop before needing to be in line and we were WAY off! Here's the folks that were already lined up 4 hours before showtime............
I loved having that much time to catch up with Carrie so the backache from sitting on the floor for a few hours was no problem! The crowd was hilarious! EVERY single time there was a peek of Jacob's body, a ton of girls would screamed out. The funniest thing was the first long scene with Edward reciting "Romeo & Juliet" the crowd was dead silent just staring at him all thinking "yum" and this woman just lets out this loud :::SIGH:::! Everyone started laughing, it was great! In case any of you peeps haven't seen it yet I won't spoil anything for you. I thought it was visually much better than the first movie. I'm not a huge Jacob fan but he did ok. I knew from reading the book that my Edward would be absent a lot this time around so I just enjoyed the parts he was in! The Volturi are soooooo cool! There was only 1 ridiculous scene towards the end and I'm sure you will know which one I'm talking about if/when you see itIf you have already seen it, LET'S TALK!!!
Yesterday was our 9th wedding anniversary. We actually got to leave the house and we went to Salty's. I'd never been there and our view was pretty great! They gave us a delish and beautiful cake to share as well. Yum!
I'm so excited for Black Friday! Not for any crazy sales or anything but I made an appointment to get my hair done by an actual SALON that apparently does awesome work! I am going back to my red hair and hopefully getting a sexy cut too! I've been trying to grow out the front since my last gal butchered it and it's just long and poofy enough to get in ship shape so cross your fingers for me!
