Catchin' Up

Hi all! I just realized I have neglected my weekly recommendations the past 2 weeks. I know, you've been wondering. I know it must keep you up at night thinking, "What will Jen recommend to me next? A movie, book, CD, exotic fruits...WHAT???!!!!" So sorry for your restless nights but fear no more for I have come bearing recommendations! BUT FIRST, here's some cute pics of Noah this past week or so. He's feeling back to his old self. He's sleeping 11 hours every night without any waking (knock on wood) for 6 nights in a row so it looks as though whatever was going on is subsiding. Woo-hoo!

OF COURSE he's a "Twilight" fan. He's already halfway through "Eclipse" and says he can't wait to finish the series! My smart little man! Hee hee! We watched the movie and his review is "Gaaa da da bah bah da da da ummm" Profound. Words we must all contemplate.

He got used to me putting a cold rag on his head when his temp would rise that he kinda likes it now! Silly kid!

Ok, now for recommendations........
Obviously I recommend you all go out and but "Twilight" on DVD. I stupidly reserved it at Barnes & Noble and paid $29 bucks for a 2 disc edition then walked right next door to Target and found a 3 disc edition for $17 bucks! ARG!! So it's off to returns I go! Watch the extended scenes and laugh your tushy off like I did! "A Hundred Years of Journals" is hilarious scene in a BAD way. No wonder they didn't make the film!
The "deleted" scenes are more promising and a couple of them I would've like to see in the film.
My favorite part is on disc 3 in a documentary called "Becoming Edward". NICE! I'm still watching all the DVD extras but the 3 disc at Target is the way to go!

Other recommendations for the week....another obvious one (sorry for being so predictable. I promise to shake things up soon!) is Kelly Clarkson's new CD and Taylor Swift's "Fearless" CD. If you are not a Kelly fan, this CD probably won't change your mind but if you love Kelly like I do, it's just great! There's a song or two I could do without but I'll listen to her voice since a menu, I don't care!

I've been a bit "out of it" so I will jump back into the world outside and come back with some great recommendations soon. Do you have any for me? I'm currently looking for some great music for my Ipod. I can only sing the theme to "Blue's Clues" & "Wonder Pets" sooo many times before I want to jump off my balcony!
